Recurring invoices are posted the day before your preferred, scheduled payment date.  To ensure that the invoice posts your start date on your recurring invoice needs to be 2 days prior to the first ACH date.  For example, if your payment date is Saturday then your original start date will be the Thursday prior to that Saturday.  This date is only important for the very first invoice.  After that, it will be on auto pilot and you will not have to revisit the recurring invoice unless there is a change to be made.
