Q: Do my clients need to download the mobile app to make appointments with me?

A: No, they can book from the website that is provided to you, which is connected to your mobile app.


Q: Do I have to use the website that is provided?

A: You do not have to use the website we provide, but if you choose not to then you cannot send invoices and cannot use the confirmation/reminder feature. All you need to do is not include a pre-fix for the URL during Setup Step 1 to not take advantage of the website feature.


Q: What if I already have a website? Can I place a button on that to use the online booking feature?

A: Yes, you can. It will just redirect the client to your personal Gina's Platform website and the first page they see is online booking.


Q: Can I create a custom URL for my website?

A: No. However, you can create a custom prefix. EX: yoursalonsbusiness.ginasplatform.com


Q: Is there a cost to use the website you provide?

A: No, it is completely free for you to use.


Q: Can I book appointments from my website?

A: Currently this feature is in Development.


Q: How do I customize my website with my info?

A: It is automatically populated when you create your account.


Q: How do I get my social media accounts connected to my website you provide?

A: Click on the 3 horizontal lines in the upper right hand corner of the app which will launch the app menu and then click Business Profile.   From there you will find the option Social medial Links.  Select that and then you will need to cut and paste your social media URL’s into the fields found on that page. Q: Can I sell products on my website that is provided to me?

A: Currently this feature is in development.


Q: Does my website have a portfolio?

A: Yes, it does.  Click on the 3 horizontal lines in the upper right hand corner of the app which will launch the app menu and then click Portfolio.  Click Upload Photos to choose photos from your phone or tablet's photo gallery.


Q: Where else is my portfolio seen?

A: Within the mobile app under your Profile, and potential clients are able to browse your portfolio both on the Gina's Platform website, your custom URL, and in the Gina's Platform App.


Q: Do I have to use the client self-book feature on the app or my website?

A: No, you DO NOT have to have open calendar or open calendar with confirmation on your website or app. You can find this setting in the Menu under App Settings.
