Once you have downloaded the app you will log in with your email address and password you set up when you created your account.  You will then be lead through a 6 step process to set up the rest of your Business Profile. 


Step 1 - Business Information

  • Verify your Business name and Address information is correct
  • Enter your License number, Issuing State, and expiration information
  • Verify that your custom URL is correct
  • Upload a profile picture from your phone/table photo library.  The photo will be made square.  Please use the cropping tool to expand the photo to fill the square
  • Click Continue


Step 2 - Personal Bio

  • Verify that you Personal Bio information is correct
  • Click Continue


Step 3 - Operating Hours

  • Click Closed for days you do not offer services
  • Click Open and your start and end times for the days you do offer services
  • If you take a regular break every day you are open then scroll down to the bottom to Lunch and click Block Out to create your daily break time.  If you do not have a regular break click None
  • Click Continue


Step 4 - Service Settings

  • Enter your local sales tax for product sales
  • Enter your Header Information - This is information that will go at the top of your service offerings page.  For example, an overall general explanation of your services
  • Enter your Footer Information - This is information that will go at the bottom of your service offerings page.  For example, any service/product guarantee information
  • Enter your Cancellation and Late Policy - This information will be conveyed to your clients on the App and in reminders/notifications
  • Verify that the Type of Services you provide is correctly marked
  • Click Continue


Step 5 - Offerings and Products


ENTERING SERVICES:

  • Click on the Services button and then click the Add+ button to the far right
  • Enter:
    • Service name
    • Description
    • Price
    • Time duration
    • Category (optional: Categories can be created by the Lifestyle Professional to group like services together.  For example, you could create Category names such as: Haircuts, Color Services, Waxing Services, Manicures, Pedicures, etc.)
    • Standard Service Name (Search list for the best general description of your service)
    • Service Price Range (Optional: use this option if the service price varies based on client needs)
    • Add Processing and Finish Out Time (The time duration indicates how long it takes to apply a product.  The processing time is how long it takes for the product to process which will allow for other clients to book smaller appointments during this timeframe.  The finish out time is how long it takes to finish up the appointment (rinse out, cut, blowout, style, etc.)
    • Choose Color (optional if you wish to color code your service categories
  • Click Save
  • Repeat for each Service


ENTERING PRODUCTS:

  • Click on the Products button and then click the Add+ button to the far right
  • Enter:
    • Product name
    • Description
    • Price
    • Click Sales Tax button if product is a taxable item
    • Category (optional: Categories can be created by the Lifestyle Professional to group like products together.  For example, you could create Category names such as: shampoo, conditioner, moisturizers, etc.)
    • Choose Color (optional if you wish to color code your product categories
    • Enter beginning inventory amount in stock.  When you replenish your stock you will enter new inventory counts in 
  • Click Save
  • Repeat for each Product


Once all services and products are entered Click Continue


Step 6 - Add Client/Sign up for ProPay/Setup Calendar


ADDING CLIENTS

  • You can import your clients from your phone/tablet's contacts, manually, or you can export from your existing booking system and send to support@ginasplatform.com and we will be happy to assist you with importing your client quickly.


SIGN UP FOR PROPAY

  • Click on Sign up for 2.5% Credit Card Processing
  • Click Continue
  • Verify your business, name, email, phone number are correct and enter your personal mailing address
  • Click Continue
  • Enter your Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Click to Agree to Terms & Conditions 
  • Click Submit
  • In most cases you will be approved to begin taking credit cards immediately.  If more information is required you will be instructed on your next steps via email by ProPay.
  • You will receive an email with instructions on how to log into your ProPay account and add your bank account information for your revenue to be transferred to your bank on a daily basis
  • Click on Order Card Swiper to receive your Free Credit Card Swiper
  • Enter the address you would like your credit card swiper to be shipped to and then click Place Order


SETUP OPEN CALENDAR

  • Click on Setup Open Calendar Settings 
  • There are 3 Booking Options you can offer your clients
    • Allow clients to self-book without you having to confirm the appointment - Your clients will be able to see and choose from your available time slots for their preferred service(s) and book themselves
    • Allow clients to self-book, but you have to confirm the appointment before it is set - You clients will be able to see your available time slots for their preferred service(s) but will be sending a request for the appointment time they chose.  You will receive a push notification and will need to accept and confirm the appointment 
    • Keep your calendar private and have clients request appointments - This option will allow the client to request their preferred service(s) and dates/times.  They will not be able to see any of your available time slots.  You will need to respond with a firm date/time.  Once you and the client have agreed on date/time you will add the appointment to your calendar and then client will receive an appointment confirmation notification
  • Choose the amount of time in advance you will allow your clients to book/request appointments (15 minutes - 2 hours)
  • If you wish to receive appointment booking and client message notifications DO NOT turn off in-app or push messaging pop-ups. 
  • Choose Hide Price if you do not wish for clients to see your Service/Product pricing
  • Choose Hide Service Durations if you do not wish for clients to see the amount of time alotted for a service
  • Choose the Offer Cash Discount option to offer a lower cash price.  By law in most states, the credit card price is what must be advertised.  This app will adjust the price based on Cash, Credit or Invoice payment if the cash discount option is turned on.
